The people of Iran helped prop up the current regime they showed a trust in the those in power and that now has been shattered by the current violence and attack on assembly and speech.  Iran has gone from a country that popularly supported it Government to one of a political security state with secret police, midnight raids and the disappearance of dissidents. Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, keep up their  defiance against the current regime and are supported by former President Mohammad Khatami.  While afraid and hiding the people are angry and hostile against the Government.  The Iranian Government has no legitimatize in the world or in the country.
